The Torpedo Monkeys come from the Ruhr area between Essen and Gelsenkirchen and play thrashy garage rock'n'roll between rockabilly, surf and psychobilly, with influences from Elvis to The Fuzztones. The band performs inside a self-invented monkey mythology in which each member carries their own stage name.
