The Velveteers

The Velveteers are a trio formed in 2014 in Boulder, Colorado, fronted by Demi Demitro and known for their unconventional lineup featuring two drummers playing simultaneously instead of a bassist. Both albums, 'Nightmare Daydream' (2021) and 'A Million Knives' (2025), were produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) on his Easy Eye Sound label. The band has opened for Guns N' Roses, Smashing Pumpkins and Greta Van Fleet.
