Thomas Klein

Thomas Klein is a musician from Düsseldorf and has been a founding member and drummer of the electronic band Kreidler since 1994. Since 2011 he has also performed solo under the name Sølyst, releasing albums on Hamburg label Bureau B (including "Sølyst" in 2011, "Lead" in 2013, "The Steam Age" in 2016 and "Spring" in 2021). His sound combines analog drumming with live sampling and sequencing into hypnotic, often darkly atmospheric rhythmic structures.
