Thronehammer

Thronehammer is an international doom metal band formed in 2012 by guitarist Stuart West (aka Stuart Bootsy West or Torsten Trautwein) of Obelyskkh, blending crushing traditional doom with epic heavy metal influences reminiscent of Candlemass, Bathory, and Paradise Lost. After a slow start with a 2012 demo and a 2018 split release 'Vol.1 – Vampire Bites' with Lord Of Solitude, the band solidified its lineup including vocalist Kat Shevil Gillham, guitarist Tim HammerSmith (Tim Schmidt), bassist Uwe Void, and drummer Markus Ströhlein, delivering powerful full-length albums like 'Usurper Of The Oaken Throne' (2019) and 'Incantation Rites'. Known for their riff-driven devastation and live tours across Germany, Thronehammer has earned acclaim for their atmospheric, versatile doom sound that continues to evolve.
