Tigerbeat formed in Hamburg in December 1996 and released the albums "No.1" (2002) and "13 Songs" (2003, Buback Records). In 2013 the band played a one-off reunion show at Reeperbahn Festival, and reactivated in 2024 with a new lineup. On June 5, 2026 Tigerbeat played their first official show in the new formation, opening for Jack White at Georg Elser Halle Hamburg.
