Tunes of Darkness is Hamburg's metal choir: around 30 singers aged 25 to 70 who rehearse rock and metal classics without sheet music on Tuesdays in Hamburg-Stellingen under musical director Uwe Seemann, from anthems and thrash bangers to folk ballads and melodic power metal, including Alice Cooper and Megadeth. Their first performance was on 15 October 2024; together with the Northern Ravens from Lübeck they form the non-profit Metalchor e.V.
