Tvashtar

Tvashtar is a post-punk trio from Hamburg, named after a volcano on Jupiter's moon Io. The band is made up of Sabine Höpfner (bass, baritone, vocals), Juliane Narten (guitar) and Sabine Zöllner (drums). Their sound combines cool guitar, angular bass and stripped-back drums with dark vocals; releases include the EPs "Drop my Gaze" (2018) and "io" (2021), plus the singles "Raw" and "Dear Sappho/Batty" (both 2023).
