Uli Jon Roth

Uli Jon Roth (born 18 December 1954 in Düsseldorf) is a German guitarist who served as lead guitarist of the Scorpions from 1973 to 1978, shaping albums such as "In Trance", "Virgin Killer" and "Taken by Force". He went on to form Electric Sun and developed a neoclassical, Hendrix-inspired style that made him a pioneer of neoclassical metal.
