Unheilig was a German band formed in Aachen in 1999. The band was fronted by singer Bernd Heinrich Graf, known professionally as Der Graf (The Count). Their sound blended elements of gothic rock, Neue Deutsche Härte, and electronic music. Unheilig gained mainstream success in the late 2000s and early 2010s, becoming one of Germany's most popular musical acts. They were known for their emotional lyrics and theatrical stage presence. The band officially disbanded in 2016 after a farewell tour.
