Vanguard is a Swedish synthpop/futurepop duo from Gothenburg, formed in 2008 by Patrik Hansson and Jonas Olofsson. Their sound pairs club-ready electropop beats with catchy vocals in the Scandinavian synthpop tradition. Their debut album "Sanctuary" arrived in 2012, and the band later signed to the German label Infacted Recordings.
