Wolf Maahn was born in Berlin in 1955 and grew up in Munich. In 1985 he became the first German act to perform on "Rockpalast Nacht", broadcast live to 17 European countries. Of his 19 albums, 15 charted in Germany; besides music he has also worked as a producer, film composer and actor.
