XIV Dark Centuries

XIV Dark Centuries are a German pagan metal band from Zella-Mehlis in Thuringia, formed in 1994. They call their style "Heidnischer Thüringer Metal" (Pagan Thuringian Metal), and their name refers to the fourteen centuries since the Christianization of Thuringia, which the band regards as a "dark" era. Their lyrics center on Germanic paganism and the history of the Thuringian tribe.
