Yacöpsae

Yacøpsæ (also spelled Yacöpsae) formed in 1990 out of Hamburg's punk and squatter scene, initially as a duo, completing its lineup with a bassist in 1996. The band places itself between powerviolence and fastcore, though it is often categorized as grindcore in the press; hallmarks include blastbeats, stop'n'go breaks and socially critical German lyrics. They have repeatedly played internationally renowned festivals such as Obscene Extreme and Maryland Deathfest. Their 2016 album 'Gästezimmer' featured guest vocalists from friend bands.
