THORSTEN ZEITNITZ & The Dørdie Roots is a trio founded in 2019 by Thorsten Zeitnitz and Hamburg drummer Holger Engellandt, with Carsten Okkens on bass. The band calls its style "Dørdie-Roots-Rock" — rooted in rock, blues and country as well as punk and soul, with German-language lyrics about everyday life and love.
