The Kultur- und Eventzentrum Bahnhof Werl is a socio-cultural venue housed in the town's converted former railway station. Run by the non-profit association Kultur für Werl e.V. since September 2005, it presents a wide-ranging programme of concerts, cabaret, comedy, theatre, readings and parties. With room for around 200 standing guests (or 70 seated), the Bahnhof is a stage for touring acts and local artists alike, and can also be rented for private and corporate events. It is supported by North Rhine-Westphalia's Ministry of Culture and Science and Soziokultur NRW.
