Doornroosje was founded in the 1970s in Nijmegen and relocated to a new building at Stationsplein next to the central station in 2014. The main hall holds around 1,100, complemented by a smaller room with approximately 400 capacity, and the program spans indie, rock, metal, world music, and electronic music.
